While laptops offer a lot of convenience, the one thing I sometimes miss is the set of number keys found on the right of any standard keyboard. Well, apparently I am not the only one to notice, and designer Sun Lihui addresses this in the Key Mouse. The Key Mouse is plenty portable, which it needs to be to keep up with your laptop, and it’s also got a fun design that’s impossible to notice. It’s actually a bluetooth mouse (another thing missing from laptops!), but when you open its retractable hood you find a set of number keys inside.

Before the onset of digital cameras Polaroids were the only option that people had in terms of generating photos instantly. Now that there is no longer a need to run to the next drug store to get a couple or so of pictures printed – or even run through an entire 24- or 36- shot roll of film before having the developed – one might think that there is no longer a place for the classic Polaroid camera. And this is being pointed out as the reason why Polaroid quietly let the device bow out a couple of years back, while current owners slowly traded in the classic for new digital cameras.
According to a feature on CruchGear.com, however, there were those who remained true fans of the Polaroid who continued to patronize the product. Imitation cameras that operated based on the Polaroid concept burst onto the seen when Polaroid pulled the plug, so Polaroid may now want in on the action, although that is just conjecture on the feature writer’s part. Thus, the release of the Polaroid 300.
The feature warns, though, that consumers should not lap it up at first glance. Another post on dvice.com even blatantly calls the device a “rip-off”.
The Polaroid 300 has a $90 price tag attached to it, and will need to be fed with special instant film so that it could do its magic – film that will cost consumers a buck a pop at $10 for a pack of 10 films. That constitutes a rather big pop for a photo.

The Great Features of Drum Cartridges
